Preparation
Sift 1–2 g of powder into the bowl. Add a little hot, non-boiling water and whisk until smooth and frothy. Add water, milk or a plant-based drink to taste. For an iced version, prepare the matcha first, then pour it over ice.
Origin and care
According to Mother Earth, the matcha comes from a family tea producer in China. This origin refers to the tea; the preparation tools are separate products.
The manufacturer states that the ceramic bowl is dishwasher safe. Hand wash the bamboo tools and let the whisk air dry on its holder. Keep the powder tightly sealed in a cool, dry place. Matcha naturally contains caffeine. Follow the information on the packaging.
